With the midwest of the USA covered by the polar vortex I have been thinking about my childhood home, the beach, the sun, the warmth. I was very fortunate to grow up in such a place. My father ran semenars on various topics and arrange for speakers etc. The company that paid him arranged the housing. I was c 100 feet from the beach, near a cliff. It was truly a beautiful place.
