Let this be the last time
when bullets fly
and loved ones have to say goodbye

Let this be the last sensational newsbroadcast
after bullets fly
and the nations cry

Let this be the last time
an adult son's father
saves him from the gun
by dying in his arms
and so many more also dead
no more

Let this be the last time
Cain raises his hand to Abel

Let this be the last time
Let this be the last time
Let this be

please let this be the time
when free hugs are given in joy
thank you for the toy

Let this be the time
when brothers and sisters and everyone
build bridges, to cure the divides

Let this be the time
brainstorming rivels
solve the puzzles
together

Let this be the time
when lonley young people
don't sit eating lunch alone for too long
new friends

Let this be the time
when a little hope
dawns bright upon mankind
sunrise

and we find a way
to lay down our sword and shield
(which don't mean we forget how to use)
there are many ways to defend

Let this be the time
